Beauty lies... in the SITUATIONS of the beholder!!

There was a time…
When the sun would shine…
And the sky would smile…
And Little Red Riding Hood would set forth on her journey of a mile…
She would laugh and sing,
-ding dong ding dong ding-

And, great grandmothers would tell their great grandkids, about the great picturesque landscape little Red Riding Hood was passing by. The beautiful little moor; and the beautiful pond; the pleasant breeze, and the pleasingly unwinding path. Then, the
agreeable stones, that would most willingly roll out of the way, and the dainty blossoms that shall bid her farewell…!
The benign sun, and then of course, the ever so beautiful moon that’ll slowly start peeping out of those ever so beautiful clouds, once its about to get dark(again, so beautifully dark… with all those splendid stars, whose beauty, you shall write poems about).

Behold the scene, ever so beautiful… your eyelids growing lighter… a smile crosses your face…
And, suddenly, you might even hear the pleasant, slightly musical downpour of the friendly clouds, which though I haven’t mentioned in the above beautiful description, but, I am sure you are going to find it hard to leave them out of view, with all that beauty around…

Beauty… beauty… beauty…
Behold it lest it should fade!!

Now open your eyes back again…
Beauty gone… something else sets in…
Or, are you already done with calling me a few “nice names” for wasting away your precious minutes in contemplating non-existing beauty???

Sun never shines, always those dirty black clouds obscuring it out of view. And, if it does shine, it happens to be one of those days, when its already too much of a pain to stay put in your clothes… “that summer sweat”, I tell you.
And then of course, the smiling sky… well, who saw the sky smile until and unless it was upto some mischief… either before it was going to breath fire unto the earth; or of course, after it is done with pouring down the entire stock of rain it could ever have, over us, helpless little beings.
And, talking about the rain, who likes jumping over unnecessary puddles… hmm??
And those uncalled raindrops, that’ll either smudge your make-up, or worse still, a “bad-hair-day”. The worst is still to come, driving problems… traffic… congestion… uff… don’t ask…
Dirty path… stupid unwanted stones… punctures…
Now who told these flowers to grow here?? Now where is your parking space gone??
No… not again!!
But… shit always happens…
Wish things were at least a little… eh… what do you call it… “beautiful”!!

- period-

The cinema hall on the next cross… its got the most amazing movie playing ever…
“ye hasin vadiyan…
ye khula aasman…”
Breathtaking I tell you!!...
And now, imagine you and your beloved , and this beautiful-beautiful landscape…
Quite a sight…!!
And then of course, the next beautiful thing… that small little house in the country, that you have always intended to have … to settle down into the very lap of all things so beautiful, so natural, and so splendid!!
Beautiful…!! (sigh)…

- period –
But beauty, as we say, does not exist…
Or … does it????
